This is simply beautiful Brian. You have created a space with so much depth and nuance. I like that contrasted with the flat/graphic cartoons/comics and other papers. Have you seen the Julie Mehretu drawings at the Guggenheim? Hope everyone is well- we are getting ready for the LEaf Peepers. Does anyone know what we are allowed to use for hanging on the plaster walls at Wood?
I really would love to see Julie Mehretu's show I dont know if I will make it down I saw her show at the Detroit Institute of Art many years back and that work has been a big part of what I am doing now or what I have been trying to do Thanks for the comments it really helps me to have other artists look at my work that is why I put it up sometimes its hard to tell if what you are doing is working one of the things I am working with in this piece is depth so it makes me happy you mentioned it I feel like the work is moving in a direction I like
