I would say tension is a very close relative to balance if not the same thing. Right? It's interesting that you mentioned that I feel that this tension thing is very close to were I'm heading...Violence and penetration has really not entered my vocabulary. Although knowing you and your work I can understand why you are coming at me from this direction..

i'm i weirdo for thinking violence and penetration or did you intend that? the balance thing with the possibility of violence creates tension for me.
