AT and just way too much to do!
Hey all, I met with my Artist Teacher for the first time yesterday. I am in Brattleboro right now at my Uncles but I met with Sally in Bennington. I left my house at 9am and didn't get to uncles until 7pm. I forgot just how beautiful Vermont really is until yesterday. A very long day I had! It was great though, I think I found the right person. She doesn't currently use a darkroom she uses the sun to delevop her photographs. Its so great. I think I am going to end up in medium format photography and step away from 35mm during this semester (finacially permitting of course). Its a big step for me and makes me quite nervous. I just finished filling out the studio project plan form, that stinking thing. It wasnt so bad its just the questions were weird. I hope it all went smoothly for you. I cant beleive how much we have to do!!! I was reading in bed the other night and suddeny I realized I was reading about quantom physics! AHH! I said out loud "I DONT GET IT!" and I closed the book and went to bed, ha ha. I reread it later and its actually reaaaaaalllllyyyyy interesting. How is all your readings going??? I just got an extension on my paper because Michelle is too busy, waht a releif! How is everyone doing????

Hey Diana, Lucky about the extension. What is medium format photography? I look forward to seeing what you bring to the next residency. I was just poking around the Studio plan as well and don't understand where we are to answer the questions. There is no space on the form on line- or am I just spazzing out with this? If you could help me I'd be most grateful and relieved.Thank you for the exhibition tip too. I was in NYC recently and the Guggenheim exhibitions were interesting, some familiar artists and some new to me. There is an excellent exhibition here in VT at the Middlebury College Museum- Photographs by Mike and Doug Starn and an exhibition with Kara Walker, Ellen Gallagher, Glen Ligon, and more - I highly recommend it to anyone who can get out here. It's up through April 19th. Any M7 folks interested can stay here. Hope everyone is doing well and getting some sleep, 11 more weeks to Spring!!!
