more gloves

These are gloves I am working on for other people. I just taught myself to crochet, I was inspired by the guerrilla knitters (!) I researched for my last VC packet, and had some of my girlfriends over for a knit/crochet session (we want to yarn bomb Paia someday :) ). Then there's the (now finished) zipper glove and a glove in progress for my friend Sean, who is into the Tree of Life piece by Klimt.
My sister is a pro costume designer working out this octopus glove for me because she is awesome and loves me!

The New Year

Hey all, I want to wish you all the best in this upcoming year.On this new years eve I have decided to celebrate handing in the final draft of my process paper at approximately 1pm today by drinking the largest glass of wine ever and completely rearranging my house. I am so sore from moving furniture.
I can not beleive that graduation is only 4 or 5 weeks away...
I am totally stunned that I made it this far...
I can not wait to see all of your faces and spend some quality time with you. I have been through the most intense year of my life and it is about to end, and I intend on walking away from it all. I am looking forward to celebrating with all of you and each of our accomplishments as artists. I look back now at all that this program has asked from us and to complete this program is one of the greatest tests that we will have. I hope you all realize just how amazing you are and how incredible this final show is going to be.
Graduating this february or not, I am so proud to stand with all of you.
